Taylor: you okay? Selena: (faked a smile) yeah, just a bit sleepy Taylor: (yawning) tell me about it (remembered something, sighed) Nina called. Mike and Lauren had a fight this morning. Selena: why? What happened? Taylor: (sighed) it is a long story Selena: (smiles at him) it is a long way home. C'mon, New Yorker, tell Taylor: (laughed a bit) It was dead silence in the house. She thought it is safe to come out since everybody is gone. Still dressed in her yesterday dress, Mia took her teddy, and some toast left overs she saved from breakfast and sneaked downstairs. She looked around her in the living room but there was nobody. She carefully opened the door and went outside. She kept wandering in the front yard trying to get used to this new place cuz she knows nobody will take her back. It is a whole different atmosphere for her but unlike back home in Manhattan she doesn't feel suffocated anymore cuz she doesn't have to see her annoying nany or Dr. Cox or her dad. She hates them all because they aren't hearing her out, they are trying but they can't. No one understands her pain because no one has lived it. Well, things here aren't the best either. She is just a stranger, she knows nobody and nobody knows her. Mia believes that she doesn't belong to this world any more. She believes her mom should have taken her along but she didn't and now she has to face life all by herself because like her father always tells her "she isn't coming back" She didn't know that she will have to see that stranger; they call her brother during this afternoon walk. How can he be her brother? He doesn't look like her and she hasn't seen him before. Where has he been all that time? Why did her father send her to him? Zac wasn't less surprised himself when he saw her walking in the front yard. His confused glances met her blank yet sharp glances for a moment then she ignored him and continued her afternoon walk. He did what his grandpa told him and walked away leaving her to discover the place around, but he was too curious to leave so hid behind a tree and kept watching her from a distance... Mia kept walking round in circles for a while until her eyes fell on what she has been looking for since she got out. She ran to that grey cat she fed last night. It is like the cat was waiting for her too, she placed the pieces of bread on the ground, crouched to the cat's level and fed her just like last night. She patted its fur and the cat seemed to like it. Zac smiled to himself and walked to his cottage "apparently, Mia has a new little friend" he mumbled to himself (At the Daltons') It wasn't usual to find the dining table nearly empty at the Dalton's. Demi was glancing at Taylor, Ian and Lauren in wonder "where are the rest?" Taylor: (sighed) Nina is at the Gomezes and Mike is in his room Demi: what happened? Lauren: (dropped her fork) I don't feel like eating (she went upstairs) Demi: (worried) seriously, what is going on? Ian: your aunt and Mike had a little fight Taylor: (to Ian) you think she went to work thing out with him? Ian: (shrugged) maybe Demi: (confused) I don't understand a thing Lauren: (knocked the door of Mike's bedroom) Mike: (shouting) whoever it is, go away Lauren: (opened the door, sighed) it is me Mike: (coldly) well, I made it pretty clear. Whoever it is, go away Lauren: can we talk? (Looked hopefully at him) please? Mike: (in bitterness) why? Do you feel guilty? Well, don't. Lauren: (sighed) Mike--- Mike: (cut her) no, no, no, you are right. It is all my fault that I thought I am one of you guys (sighed) I am getting the hell outa the house tomorrow Lauren: (eyes widened) what?? Mike, c'mon! Don't do this to me. Mike: (sighed) and you don't have to worry about being friends with the Gomezes anymore (in bitterness) Now, would you excuse me, I need to pack TO BE CONTINUED.... WHAT DO U THINK? :D
